Julie KlausnerJulie Klausner is a comedy writer/performer originally from Scarsdale, New York. As a teenager, she produced a series of fanzines including "But a Paper Dress," and went on to write and direct several short films at NYU, including the very gay and falsely historical Presidents Day. Stage credits include Fancy (one-woman show), The Hall & Oates Mumbo Jumbo Hour, Killgore: The Musical, Sketch Show and Beyond the Valley of the Switchblade Pussycats. Improv credits include Upright Citizens Brigade House Team Dr. Awesome and Cardboard Follies. Television credits include "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Late Show with David Letterman," and "Strangers with Candy." Her one-woman show, 'Fancy' was extended for two runs at the UCB Theater and received, among other press accolades, a star as Critic's Pick in Time Out New York. She continues to write, direct and perform comedy at different venues in NYC, and was recently quoted in the New York Times about her work directing a Scarsdale teenager's one-woman show. Julie is a Jew, and a natural redhead.
